Troy Harris is the Founder of Boundary Stone and one of the country’s most experienced leaders in timberland portfolio management, natural‑capital strategy, and mass‑timber market development. With nearly 35 years of work across U.S. forest regions, Troy has built a career at the intersection of biological systems, long‑duration capital, and the built environment.
A passionate advocate for the mass timber industry, Troy played a pivotal role in connecting forest‑based materials to commercial real estate markets. His leadership was instrumental in the development of 619 Ponce in Atlanta — the first “Georgia Grown,” farm‑to‑table mass timber building — demonstrating how regional fiber, manufacturing, and capital can align to create a new model for resilient urban construction.
Troy’s expertise is recognized nationally. He was appointed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as the first public member of the Softwood Lumber Board, where he contributes to national strategy on softwood markets, manufacturing capacity, and forest‑sector innovation.
